The Dobson Utilities

The popular MS-DOS/Win9x freeware utility suite

 Dobson Utilities Introduction

The Dobson Utilities is a collection of command-line tools that can be used in an MS-DOS or Windows 9x DOS box environment. With a slew of commands designed to bencmark, backup important system files, change the colors of the command prompt, provide important system information, and many more help tools, the Dobson Utilities is a must-have for your software utility suite! For a full command-line tool listing, see below.

The Dobson Utilities started out as a small project in 1994, beginning as a simple yet powerful DOS based command line utility collection and has grown into an extensive set of tools that work in DOS as well as Windows 9x. Originally distributed through America Online, the Dobson Utilities could also be found through various freeware collections around the internet. Since the beginning of March '08, the Dobson Utilities has officially moved to a dedicated server without advertisements or pop-ups.
